Our friend Rashid Jahangiri has written the following letter to President Pervaiz Musharraf of Pakistan.

Subject: Suggestion to take steam out of MMA
opposition to your government.

Dear Mr. President:
In mid 1980s people like leaders of MMA (Muttihedda
Majlis Amal) appeared in the case against Ahmadiyya
Anjuman Ishaat Islam Lahore (AAIIL) also known as
Lahori Ahmadis in an IMPARTIAL COURT in South Africa.
Despite the fact that these religious leaders of
Pakistan had the full support and access to
CONFIDENTIAL and TOP SECRET record of 1974 National
Assembly trial of AAIIL, still these religious leaders
of Pakistan withdrew from the case, as they knew very
clearly that they have only PSEUDO knowledge of Islam,
and cannot win a case where they need to prove their
Islamic knowledge.

Sir, if you make the 1974 record of AAIIL trial in
National Assembly public, you will help citizens of
Pakistan know the TRUTH that these MMA leaders have
only a PSEUDO Islamic knowledge and they cannot stand
in a discussion, where fair rules are played. The
decision of 1974 trial was a total political and NOT
on the grounds of merit.

Sir, as now more than 30 years have passed to this
“confidential” and “top secret” record, so it will be
a great and fair step by your Excellency, if like
Justice Hamood-ur-Rehman commission report this record
of 1974 trial of AAIIL and Ahmadis can be made public.

This act of yours will only bring confidence of the
citizens in your government, and prove your governance
is transparent and in addition it will also tell the
public the real worth and merit of MMA leaders which
indeed is NOTHING. This will further take the steam
out of the MMA opposition to your government.

May Allah SWT protect you and Pakistan from the
enemies.

Allah Hafiz.

Sincerely,
Rashid Jahangiri, M.D.
